    A perfect overview of the entire battle plan to maximise your health. LOVED this!!! Covers pretty much everything in enough detail for you to get moving and make huge changes. Not a “diet” per se, but a way of life. Diet is a word you use for something that’s going to be a struggle and you won’t stick to for too long because you starve…at least that’s what “diet” seems to make people think! Get back to your ancestral roots and pick this book up because it’s worth the few hours of your time it’ll take to get through it. Life changing…thanks Abel

    A lot more than just a book about healthy eating
    I have read extensively on this subject and I have to say this is probably the best book on healthy eating and lifestyle I have read.

    Titling any book a ‘diet’ book runs the risk that it sounds like just another eating plan. This book is much more than that and describes not only how to eat but also healthy lifestyle practices that go hand in hand with a healthy eating regime. A better title [though maybe not usable] would be “eat and live the way your body was designed to”

    Thank you Abel for publishing this book! As an RN in the western medical community, I can’t tell you enough how much this information is needed to be spread. You did so in an honest and factual way that was enjoyable to listen to and easy to understand. Society’s understanding of nutrition is so clouded by the media and large corporation marketing that is deceiving that even the medical community has a hard time sorting it all out. I have listened to your podcast for awhile now and love how honest you are and that you are not corrupted by the bottom line. Your integrity is what brought me to read this book and become better for myself and family. I have learned so much through people like you and some of the folks you bring on your show! – on a side note, I do have to agree with the guy who said the lists on service that were read were a bit of a pain – it would be nice to have the book AND service version for this kind of book and may just purchase it again so I have a copy.     Abel James may have solved the obesity epidemic
    I’m not really a diet book kind of guy, and I’m always on my guard for quacks out to sell me their diet products. I’ve also been disappointed in the negative psychology that appears in many other diets… It’s always been a setup of basically mind over matter-you versus your body, counting calories, and constantly thinking about your next tiny meal. It’s also usually about feeling miserable and tired.

    Enter Abel, a formerly fat and sick victim of conventional wisdom, who bought into the narrative of scientific eating and paid a heavy price. Rather than defining insanity, by repeating his actions and expecting a different result, he set out on a journey for the truth.

    Abel takes the status-quo to task, describing precisely where the collective American diet got out of whack, as well as the science behind it. He also describes in a layman friendly way the workings of insulin and other hormones and their response to what we feed ourselves.

    Following Abel’s advice for only a short time, I know that it works for me. I have lost fat and gained muscle, despite not being 100 percent “wild” yet. There is a touch of a learning curve in terms of learning how to shop for and cook certain things. But in the end, my entire attitude toward nutrition has shifted, and this is I think the greatest success of The Wild Diet. It is a sustainable way of living, and I look forward to the road ahead.

    This proved to be a timely book for me. I purchased the audio version which Abel reads himself. He is a great reader and has a voice that keeps you interested.

    I have recently been on a quest to pursue educating myself on how to improve my health and the relationship between foods and inflammation in the body. I have not started the Wild Diet yet as I am researching additional health information related to conditions I’m dealing with.

    This is a good read and I highly recommend it!

    I really enjoyed listening to Abel’s voice. he had a lot of good information and ideas about how to get healthy. I’m pretty informed on the matter before coming into this book, however I did not get bored or feel fooled. what I didn’t like is that I felt like a lot of his ideas we’re out of reach for a lot of people or for the beginner. what I do believe, is that everyone can find a lot of great things to incorporate into their life. I also feel that everyone should know a lot of the things that he’s talking about. Being informed about her food, food sources, etc is very important.

    Abel has a very inviting voice. very easy to listen to. The info is also great. A lot of what you may already know (eat real food, stay away from fake food), however, his delivery is wonderful. Also the accompanying PDF offers great recipes to get started.

The traditional diet, and all of the malarchy that goes along with it disintegrated when this was published.
